Make sure to tune your TV to The Nashville Network (TNN) this weekend at 5 PM CST to catch 15-year old country star Lizzie Sider on the Crook and Chase Show. Lizzie’s episode will premiere Saturday and re-air on Sunday evening. Footage will include an interview, clips from CMA Fest, and the music video for her latest hit single, I Love You That Much.
“Lizzie Sider is a force! A killer combination of singer/songwriter/entertainer who exudes pure charisma and joy with every note; and a level-headed maturity that is relatable to fans of any age.” says Lorianne Cook.
Also, Lizzie appeared on The Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family hosted by Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare. The segment with the breakthrough sensation aired Thursday, June 20that 9 AM CST.
Lizzie is coming off a packed CMA Fest 2013 weekend. When she was not busy meeting fans and signing autographs at her booth in Fan Fair X at the new Music City Center, Lizzie performed to packed crowds at the Wildhorse Saloon and the Bluebird Café.
Country Music Weekly writer Tammy Ragusa, said Lizzie “wowed the crowd” with her performance at the Wildhorse Saloon and that “despite her young age, Lizzie already exhibits the poise of a seasoned entertainer.”
Lizzie’s single, I Love You That Much provides a preview of Lizzie’s forthcoming debut albumproduced by Joe Vulpis (Lady Gaga) and mastered by Tom Coyne (Red-Taylor Swift).
The music video for I Love You That Much debuted on The Country Network (TCN) back in April. The video was shot by director Steven Goldman of The Collective Films, USA LLC in Los Angeles, CA.
Digital correspondent and columnist Jessica Northey recently tweeted, “People are calling her the next Taylor Swift. Pure talent!”
As a humanitarian and spokesperson for anti-bullying efforts, Lizzie performed at the Texas State Capitol in Austin back on June 1st as part of the Zero Tolerance Project. This CMA Close Up “Who New to Watch in 2013” artist, recently became a leader and spokesperson for the Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN www.gwennetwork.org), sharing her personal story of encouragement with their community. Lizzie knows firsthand the impact of heckling on school grounds, but, with the support of her family, channeled that frustration into writing what became her Top 40 debut single, Butterfly. Butterfly was penned by Lizzie and 2x #1 singer/songwriter Jamie O’Neal (also served as producer on the single), Jimmy Murphy and Lisa Drew (There Is No Arizona).
She has also hosted two episodes of Breaking Out, TCN’s show highlighting up-and-coming country artists.
Country Radio Spreads their Wings for Teen Songstress Lizzie Sider’s Debut Hit Butterfly
Fourteen-year-old, country-pop singer / songwriter Lizzie Sider is hard at work visiting radio stations in support of her smashing, autobiographical debut, Butterfly.
While balancing high school classes, homework and extra curriculum activities, this multi-talented artist finds the time to focus on her career by visiting radio stations, writing new songs, performing at various venues and working in the studio on her full-length, upcoming album which will be released later this year.
Critics and fans alike are giving Butterfly rave reviews as it climbs the Music Row charts, praising Lizzie for her luminescent lyrics and infectious spirit.
“Wildly upbeat and catchy as all get out. The pulsing production rings with repeated guitar riffs and notes of steel. She sings with confidence and volume, riding atop the sonic excitement like a pro.” – Music Row’s Robert K Oermann.
Penned by Lizzie and 2x #1 singer/songwriter Jamie O’Neal, Jimmy Murphy and Lisa Drew (There Is No Arizona), Butterfly is a track that parallels Lizzie’s current journey to country music as songwriting served as her escape from being teased and humiliated in elementary school. The video is also currently in rotation on TCN (The Country Network) and is available on CMT.com and GACTV.com.
Proving that she can find a home among a variety of audiences, this Sunshine State native is performing around the states at malls, rodeos, corporate conventions, charities, hospitals, county fairs and has even headlined showcases during NYC fashion week. She has also hosted two episodes of Breaking Out, TCN’s show highlighting up-and-coming country artists.
Kicking off the New Year, Lizzie has been selected by CMA as one of the “Artists to Watch” in 2013 and will be featured in their February/March issue of CMA Close Up. Her forthcoming debut album is produced by Joe Vulpis (Lady Gaga) and is being mastered by Tom Coyne (Red-Taylor Swift).
