Fourteen-year-old, country-pop singer/songwriter Lizzie Sider is hard at work visiting radio stations in support of her smashing, autobiographical debut, Butterfly.
While balancing high school classes, homework and extra curriculum activities, this multi-talented artist finds the time to focus on her career by visiting radio stations, writing new songs, performing at various venues and working in the studio on her full-length, upcoming album which will be released later this year.
Critics and fans alike are giving Butterfly rave reviews as it climbs the Music Row charts, praising Lizzie for her luminescent lyrics and infectious spirit.
“Wildly upbeat and catchy as all get out. The pulsing production rings with repeated guitar riffs and notes of steel. She sings with confidence and volume, riding atop the sonic excitement like a pro.” – Music Row’s Robert K Oermann.
Penned by Lizzie and 2x #1 singer/songwriter Jamie O’Neal, Jimmy Murphy and Lisa Drew (There Is No Arizona), Butterfly is a track that parallels Lizzie’s current journey to country music as songwriting served as her escape from being teased and humiliated in elementary school. The video is also currently in rotation on TCN (The Country Network) and is available on CMT.com and GACTV.com.
Proving that she can find a home among a variety of audiences, this Sunshine State native is performing around the states at malls, rodeos, corporate conventions, charities, hospitals, county fairs and has even headlined showcases during NYC fashion week. She has also hosted two episodes of Breaking Out, TCN’s show highlighting up-and-coming country artists.
Kicking off the New Year, Lizzie has been selected by CMA as one of the “Artists to Watch” in 2013 and will be featured in their February/March issue of CMA Close Up. Her forthcoming debut album is produced by Joe Vulpis (Lady Gaga) and is being mastered by Tom Coyne (Red-Taylor Swift).
